Make a Difference in Union . . .
Get Involved! Everyone is encouraged to take part in Union's free leadership/community improvement program which was developed by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and the Nebraska Community Improvement Program. This program was developed specifically to help rural communities train new leaders and re-energize experienced ones. Union needs a variety of women and men of various ages, backgrounds and levels of experience to participate. The committment is to attend various sessions to help with a new community project chosen by the group. The kick-off meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Union. Refreshments and FREE childcare will be provided - so bring the whole family. Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Please join Union's bible study group in retracing the final steps of Jesus on his final day (the Last Supper, Crucifiction, etc.) on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. at the Union United Methodist Church (2nd & B St.).
