The Recycling Trailer is in Union this Week!
Recycling has been made so easy through the recycling trailer that visits Union every third week. There is no need to sort, nothing to pay . . . just collect your paper, cardboard, tin & aluminum cans, plastics at home and put them in the trailer. Remember glass is currently not accepted. Union's Cleanup & GreenUp Weekend September 11th & 12th
Union United is hosting another village wide cleanup the second weekend in September, to include: -Highway 34 cleanup -Park cleanup / preparation for trees -Metal recycling* -Used tire collection -Main Street beautification -Trash collection -Much more *Acceptable items for metal recycling are listed below: Car batteries
All appliances-large and small Propane/charcoal grills Fans (ceiling, box, oscillating) Lawn mowers Leaf blowers Hedge trimmers Weed eaters Window frames Steel doors Bicycles
Union Volunteer Fire and Rescue Hosting Pancake Breakfast

Auditions for Fall Farce at the Lofte
The Lofte Community Theatre will be holding auditions for its fall comedy, “Unnecessary Farce,” on Monday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 7 at 7pm. No advance preparation is necessary. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
