The Recycling Trailer is in Union this Week!

Recycling has been made so easy through the recycling trailer that visits Union every third week.  There is no need to sort, nothing to pay . . . just collect your paper, cardboard, tin & aluminum cans, plastics at home and put them in the trailer.  Remember glass is currently not accepted.

Auditions for Fall Farce at the Lofte

The Lofte Community Theatre will be holding auditions for its fall comedy, “Unnecessary Farce,” on Monday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 7 at 7pm.  No advance preparation is necessary.  Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Written by Paul Slade Smith, “Unnecessary Farce” is a fast-paced, high energy comedy.  An embezzling mayor is trying to schedule a rendezvous with his beautiful assistant.  Throw in a couple of undercover cops, a hit man and various other over-the-top characters and you have the recipe for fun.
