Save Your Recyclables!
![]() In March, Union will begin hosting a multi-stream recycling trailer in the village on a monthly basis. Union hopes to expand on the efforts and has applied for a grant to provide individual recycling bins for every residence in the Village. These individual recycling bins would make recycling extremely convenient for all residents, as recyclable items can be collected throughout the month at home (no need for sorting!!) and then transferred to the recycling trailer when it is in town. There will be a calendar printed indicating where the recycling trailers will be at all times, as well as a list of acceptable recyclable items. Please look for more information coming soon on how you can help Union "go green."

Check out Louisville's Weekly Online Newsletter Paula Anderson - Editor Louisville Nebraska
Greetings from Louisville, Nebraska! My husband of one year, Derek, and I live in Louisville and love it! Derek teaches geography and economics at Omaha Central in Omaha, while I commute four blocks to Louisville where I teach senior composition, and middle school reading and language arts. In addition, I am the yearbook adviser for our school and perform various other “small-school” roles as they emerge. I am almost finished with my master’s degree in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and I am also very involved with the Nebraska Writing Project. As you can probably expect, I enjoy reading (lots of young adult novels during the school year and senior papers!) and writing. I grew up on a farm near Eagle, NE and attended Elmwood-Murdock High School; then, I ventured seven hours from home to Chadron, Nebraska where I completed my bachelor’s degree. After living and teaching in Omaha and South Dakota, I can now call the lovely town of Louisville my home for the past four years.
Thanks for reading this week's newsletter. Please let me know if you have any information you would like to add next time! Have a great week - Mindy |
