SEWER USE FEES INCREASE:
Due to the cost of new Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF), we are required to increase the sewer use fees. An ordinance to increase the cost from $8.00 per month per user to $17.00 per month per user has been passed by the Village Board of Trustees on Jan 4, 2005 and is effective immediately.

PARKING:
Several cars have been ticketed for illegal parking in town recently. This action was not initiated by the Village Board. However, if you are parking in the wrong direction or on both sides of the road, it makes driving down that road very difficult & is illegal parking. Contact the sheriff’s office if you have questions.
Also, as a reminder, winter weather is upon on. So if you have a driveway, use it so that other cars can drive safely & plowing can be done without damage to vehicles.

SOLICITORS:
If you are having problems with solicitors, just simply ask them if they have a letter from the clerk’s office authorizing them to go house to house. According to our ordinances, salespeople are required to get approval to solicit in town. This does not include schoolchildren.
