VILLAGE SURVEY:
This month every household within the village corporate limit will receive a survey with their water bill. Please read over it and answer what questions you can. This survey will let the village board know what all the residents are interested in and it doesn’t have any questions concerning incomes. There is also an area where you can show your imagination and artistic skills. The village is looking for examples of what our village seal could look like and also a motto. So put your brains in gear and give us some examples. A lot of time, citizens complain that they don’t have any say so as to what goes on in their community so here is your chance. You can leave your completed survey in the office door slot or mail it in. We’d like to get as many back as possible before the next board meeting scheduled for February 3rd. And if you have questions and/or concerns, contact Deb or one of the board members.

SEWER PROJECT UPDATE:
The sewer project is on schedule. The new lagoon is being dug and the crew is waiting for the new sewer pump to be delivered. So far everything has gone smooth and not very many issues have been brought up by local residents. I will update as information becomes available.

DOG LICENSES:
It is time to license your dogs. The tags are available from the village clerk, costs $5.00 and you will need to show proof of rabies vaccines. Due to some of the recent problems with invalid vaccine documentations, you will also be asked for the local veterinarian you are getting care from. The license tags are due by the end of March. If you have problems getting to the village office to get the license(s), call Deb and she will bring them to you.

PARK PAVILLION RESERVATIONS:
Be sure to get in touch with the village clerk to be sure your reservations are in as soon as possible. There are new rules to the use of the park and when you make your reservations, be sure to give a point of contact so Deb can send you a copy.
