ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS!:
The next Neighborhood Watch Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 10th @ 6:00 p.m. at the fire station. We have a representative from the Cass County Sheriff’s office coming to give us the information needed to spot meth users & distributors. We all know that Cass County has been identified as having the most meth labs & our village wants to change that. Parents, you need this information to keep your children safe from this deadly drug, which become addictive after just one use! And village residents, we all need to learn as much as possible to be able to help ourselves. Something to think about, is where there is drug abuse, there is crime. Not knowing what to look for as far as meth labs, users & distribution, is something we need to change. Please, everyone including children, parents, & senior citizens, plan on attending this meeting! An hour is not too much time to spend to clean up our village & make it safe again.

COMMUNITY PICNIC:
For the past few years, we have all enjoyed the yearly community picnic. This has been a great way to hang out with your neighbors, earn money to help out the parks & the children enjoy the games. WE NEED HELP! If this yearly event is to continue, we need more people to become involved. At this time, there are only 3 people trying to do it all. PARENTS, this is for your children! A couple hours a month is not too much to help keep this event alive & give your children a nice park(s) to use. Please contact the village clerk or a board member if you are willing to help. It would be a real shame to cancel this picnic just because you don’t want to be a part of this very important event.

CONGRATULATION GRADUATES!:
Congratulations to the following Nebraska City High School graduates; Cori Brazzle, Charles Crook, Krystle Espinosa, Jeff Johnson, & Jena Hartley. It is quite an accomplishment to graduate from high school. Good luck in your future endeavors.
