NEW TREE DONATED:
Last year around Christmas time, someone(s) stole the tree located in a lot across from the caboose. Lucky for us, Rick from Mr. Landscape decided to donate a similar tree. On Sept 13th, Rick arrived with the tree & even helped plant it. We’d like to thank him for his generosity.
GOOD NEWS:
Carl & Debbie Haupt welcomed home their son Cory from Kuwait. Cory is in the Army Reserves and was called to duty a few months ago. Cory is here for 2 weeks and will then return to Kuwait to continue to serve his country. Keep him in your prayers & hearts for a safe return home.
Last week I reported about the house explosion on Sept 11th & it was thought that both of Marc Chloe’s cats were lost. Well, to everyone’s surprise, a couple days later one of those cats was found hiding in the bushes across the street from his home by the neighborhood children. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
HALLOWEEN PARTY:
Once again, the Fire & Rescue department is hosting a Halloween party. It will be on Saturday, October 23 @ 3 p.m. @ the ballpark pavilion. They will have a costume party, hotdogs & games. If anyone is interested in donating any treats, hotdogs, prizes for the costume winners, please contact Frankie @ 263-5018 or Deb @ 263-3175. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Kenny Hoback watches as his son Roger & Rick from Mr. Landscape unload the tree that was donated.

Roger Hoback & Rick check out their tree planting skills.
