SEWER PROJECT UPDATE: The project is on schedule and they are currently working on replacing & resurfacing some of the roads in the park area. The crews are also still working on the lagoons & hoping the weather holds out so they can get the dredging & removal of the sludge done. Another update meeting is set for Tuesday, November 4th and I will update in next weeks article.

CRIME RATE IS RISING: Recently the Village residents have been experiencing more vandalism. Windows in buildings & vehicles have been broken out and someone stole a flag holding statue from in front of Mother Bones. If you see anything or know who is responsible, please contact the village clerk, board member or sheriff’s department. You can remain anonymous.

HALLOWEEN: Halloween night was chilly, but it did not keep away several trick-or-treaters from gathering up a lot of good stuff. I have not received any complaints of tricks being played on anyone and for that, thank you. Here are some of the most interesting trick-or-treaters that I saw:

Zack Peters came dressed as a sumo wrestler,
which was considered one of the funniest costumes.

Chelsea Bushus, Colby & Brady Hoback were escorted
by their dad, Roger (the scarecrow) Halloween night.
