COME TO THE MANGER:
The Union United Methodist Church is hosting a musical program entitled “Come …To the Manger” an original piece welcoming others to come & be “fed” by the Lord & presented by Cindy Luke-Reed Music Ministry on Sunday, Dec 5th, at the church in Union. The music program starts at 5 p.m. followed by a delicious casserole supper at 6 p.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $4.00 for children ages 5 yrs & over. The cost includes the music program & supper. Cindy Luke-Reed will present a program of holiday music and a message of invitation to recognize the gift of the manger. Please join us to start the holiday season with wonderful music, ministry, good food & good friends. If you have any questions, please contact Judy @ 235-3900.
SANTA IS COMING TO TOWN:
Hey Kids! Santa will be arriving to the village on a fire truck on Saturday, Dec 4th at 2:00 p.m. After he rides around town, he’ll come back to the fire station until 4:00 p.m. to visit with the children, listen to their wish lists, hand out “goodie bags” and there will be cookies, hot chocolate & coffee for all to enjoy. And Mom & Dad, if you want a picture of your child with Santa, we will be there with cameras and the cost will be $3.00 per photo. We have not forgotten about the 4-legged “children” either. Bring your pet and they can be photographed with Santa & will all get bandanas to wear. If you bring your pet, please be sure they are on leashes & under your control at all times. Plan on visiting with us this Saturday, Dec 4th.
LETTERS TO SANTA:
There is a box for all letters to Santa at the post office or they can be put in the slot at the village office. We will be sure Santa gets all the letters and your children will get their own letter from Santa. Make sure the names are clearly written & the address is on the letter.
