VILLAGE OF UNION MEETING MINUTES JUNE 10, 2026 The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm at the Union Office/Fire Hall at 500 Main St. The Open Meeting Laws were displayed for public reference. CLERK REPORT – The clerk reported that the meter reader battery exploded after meters were read earlier this month leaving her unable to retrieve readings of the device. A new battery was ordered but will take 9 to 15 business days to get it to Union. She billed everyone for the minimum water charge and left a notice in the Post Office letting residents know that usage will include May when billed in July for June. Village Maintenance Report – Heyen reported that the well house pumped 1,296,000 gallons for 224 hours. 972,000 gallons of wastewater went through the lift station. Heyen reported 163,000 gallons of water pumped through lift station when tower was drained for maintenance. Heyen and the crew have been trimming trees and mowing the parks. Fire/Rescue – NTR Union United Inc. Report: CJ set up movie equipment and tested it for the upcoming Movie Under the Stars event at the pavilion. Seyler said that the movie could start about 9:10 pm when the sun is low enough. New Business: Hill motioned to approve up to table propane contract decision until one is received. 2nd by Feek.
